Hi, my name is Yewande and I am a part of DARE's youth group Seeds of Change. In the month of October we will be holding a workshop focusing on the school to prison pipeline. We have created a survey that asks for your opinion on this important topic.

This is important to me because I have heard of instances where students have been arrested in school.  A large number of students are being sent to juvenile detention facilities instead of graduating and succeeding.  We must get an idea of what's really going on in school and do something to change this.

I hope to take the information from the survey to better your experience in school. Learn more by coming to the School to Prison Pipeline Workshop at DARE, 4:00 to 5:30 on October 6 , 2010 on 340 Lockwood St.
